DI SA acquires “Internet Reit” Inc. portfolio of high values generic names
The domain investment web company acquired more than 150 high value names from I Reit increasing even more its presence on the web domain market.
DI S.A. (formerly Domain invest S.A) acquired more than 150 high value generic names at the Last Vancouver Summit in order to take an even stronger stance on the highly competitive domain names market. The domain names investment company has been experiencing a constant growth since the beginning of the year and has managed to attract new capitals investors (Iris Capital PR) to support its strong business model.
Generic names are the most valuable assets in the domaining world and constantly generates the highest traffic rates and interest. Thus owning this domain names can increase websites or parking generated income tremendously as opposed to lesser generic domains.
Some of the high value recently acquired domains include: tricks.com and replays.com which would be obvious contenders for any sport related websites, mailedto.com and netdriver.com could find their place in tech oriented websites, racingcars.com in motor oriented websites and billboardhits.com in movie focused portals for example. Iris Capital invests €6M Euros in DI SA
Iris Capital development fund invested 6 million Euros into the successful domain names company DI SA (formerly Domain Invest SA) raising the capital to €18M.
Media development fund Iris Capital has raised its investment to the domain names acquisition company DI SA, by 6 million Euros, in order to strengthen its highly successful business model. Iris Capital, as well as two private investors decided to increase their investment by respectively 6 million Euros, and another 182,000 Euros, in a move to show their continuing support to DI SA. They will join the existing investors BIP Investment Partners, Société Nationale de Crédit et d’Investissement, the company’s management team as well as individual investors, as some of the biggest funding entities to DI SA.
Iris Capital spokesperson reported “We are very excited to be backing a European leader in this field. Domain names are inherently profitable assets whose market value is consistently rising.
